Statistically speaking you are exponentially more likely to die for nothing before you even find a decent cause to give your life for. Best to just accept that 100 years from now it will be as though you never existed.

Statistically speaking, you will be able to save more people if you live longer. Therefore, if you don't die to prevent the death of some other person, you are potentially able to save more people.
Also, that other person would, in some way, have died to save those other people, because if he hadn't died, it would have been because you died to save him, thus being unable to help those other people.
It's like bees. Bees die if they sting something, so it's not always worth it. |

Well if there's no choice, of course it's like in any situation: there's always an outcome that is better than others. If you have to die, might as well either save someone or take some innocent lives with you, depending on whether you are a cool person or a sociopath. |
